When I painted my first "Make-Shift Angel" back in 2007, I didn't expect it to become a series, but time has proven otherwise. This version was inspired by a pose of SilvieTstock's, which immediately brought to mind straining to reach one's stitches. Odd how my Make-Shift Angels go through so much, but emote so little... such private creatures my muse has gifted me.
