3/16/11--As part of my website update, I color-corrected all of my scanned watercolors so that they actually look like themselves!
A fox cub ponders the feather it has found. The color of both symbolizes positive action, just as the fox's youth imbues it with the spiritual illumination and liberation of new-born innocence. It is the same innocence that one rediscovers upon finding illumination and/or is granted by the same. The four elements of Earth, Air, Fire, and Water are represented by four of the eight sunflowers present; the remainder stand for the four kingdoms of Nature (human, animal, vegetable, and mineral).
While I'm happy with how this painting turned out, I may try yet another version of the sun card before declaring this one the official card. Hello! I'm making a series of art videos about flowers, and I was wondering if I could include this piece in one of my videos. It would be set to an original classical-style composition (by me) about this flower. I'll be sure to credit you and link to your page if you say yes. Here's a link to see the kind of music it is: [link]
Thank you very much for asking permission to use my work. Yes, you may, and thank you for giving credit and a link back. Kindly send me the link to the finished product so that I can see it!
