This fellow helped to distract me from yesterday's rollicking headache. I was frankly surprised at how little I had to fix this morning, when at last my head was again whole.

I've been debating painting a winged lion for sometime, and as well as this fellow turned out, I'm sure that a few more will appear at a future date.

No references were used, mainly because I couldn't find any of a lion with closed eyes from the angle I wanted. Thus, this painting owes many thanks to the many lions that came before it!
