Everyone needs a companion!

This was a delightfully open-ended commission from a good friend and client, who thought I should finally paint a peacock. As I knew that the client also had a fondness for dragons (and has given more than a few of mine a home), I decided that the peacock needed to "belong" to the dragons. I only wish the scanner had done the final painting justice, as the metallic gold in the dragon's mane and peacock's feathers doesn't show, nor does the hand-breaking work in the tail, for which I bought new detail brushes. Indeed, I rushed to get this sent to the client so that it would be saved from my overworking it!
